Fashions That Are Exquisite

In the mid 1500’s the style of clothing was very different then what it is today. The girls of the story, both the Montague’s and the Capulet’s wore long dresses that reached their toes, nice and straight forward no puffiness. They had shiny stones on them to shine and show the dresses beauty. The girls usually had something on their hair, not to keep it completely up, a lot of it was down, but it kept a couple of strands of hair in it. The usual hair utensils are shiny and small but big enough to be recognized. They whore small flats to walk around more swiftly. The guys of the both houses wore tights that covered their whole legs. Then they wore some flat shoes that would cover some of the tights. Then they had a shirt with a nice jacket on top of it. The jacket was tight, and very shiny, it seemed so royal when looking at it. The men also sometimes wore a small hat to compliment what they where wearing.

You see, in that time, what people wore where very important; all they cared about was how they looked. They made sure everything matched; they made sure everything complemented each other. The hair materials matched the shoes and the top clothing matched the bottom. Then the diamonds or shiny utensils were used to make them look more flawless. The two households always wanted to look better then each other, so they used more jewelry to show their royalty. They where very competitive and always wanted to look better then each other. And you thought our generation was obsessed with fashion?

Advice Column =)

Dear Advice Group,

I am having some issues with some decisions I’ve done in the past. You see there are these two people and they are madly in love, sense they first met they have been inseparable. But their love has sprung from the most profound hate I have ever known. Both their families would kill each other is they had a chance to, yet now their only children are madly in love. They came to me in need, they wanted to get married, a marriage with no one knowing, all they wanted was to have their lives connected to one another. I gave it to them. I married them two not a long while ago. Now Tybalt and Mercutio got in a fight, Mercutio died, Romeo in rage killed Tybalt and now he is going to be banished!!! Juliet is broken and scared and Lady Capulet miss understanding the concept of their love believes that the only way to relieve her sorrow is if she marries Paris right away! She asked me of all people to do it. But I already married Romeo and Juliet, I can’t remarry her. Now Romeo is going to be banished, Juliet needs to get married again, and I don’t know what to do! I don’t know how to let a love like theirs go to waste. Please help me…

With much confusion and desperation,

Friar Laurence

Dear Friar Laurence,

The first thing you have to do is stay calm; you don’t need to do anything irrational that can cause problems to yourselves and others. You need to make some plans to not have the wedding between Paris and Juliet to occur, but you have to measure the consequences of what you are doing, you can’t just decide to anything too crazy. If We where you, We would try to get Romeo and Juliet alone, so they can talk out what they want to do, if they want to run away or face their parents and expose their love. You need to get them, and help them devise a plan, but in the end it’s all on them, so you need to let them talk about it. You can’t just talk about a plan with one and expect the other to find out, it will be too complicated and confusing and many things can go wrong. In this plan that you have to be very précised there are no room for mistakes, or else many bad things can happen. So right now you can’t do anything so relax, breathe, and start thinking of a plan, but remember to plan out every single detail, and explain it to Romeo and Juliet at the same time. Once that’s done, you really can’t do anything, you have to let them go about their lives. So good luck, best wishes, we have faith in you.

We have much faith in you,

Important Conflicts

Will You Be Protestant or Catholic?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

One major thing that has been going on for years is the battle of religions. The battles of the religion weather its Protestant or Catholic. Catholicism is one issue I don’t think will ever be resolved. In all the kingdoms we have been changing religions like no tomorrow. If you don’t change religions with the religion that your kingdom is you will get execute. Do you think this right? You might, but it is the law so you should obey it. Since you are under rule by someone other then you, you must give your up most respect for them. If your choice to live in that one kingdom, so if you are going live there so have to ad bade by those rules, laws, etc. These contrivers have always been around so I don’t think we will be hearing an end to this any time soon. The best advice that I can give you is to keep the same religion as your kingdom has.

The Renaissance Time

This time is a very hard time for us. This time is about rebirth. This is the time for you to start over. Some people have come up with different theories. Nicolaus Copernicus is claiming that the planets revolve around the sun. Leonardo da Vinci is trying to come up with some sort of flying device, but we aren’t too sure how that is all going to turn out. Johannes Gutenberg is working on the first ever printing press; so far so good for him. Christopher Columbus is working on a deal to set sail to prove to us that the world is round. Do you agree with him or not? While Amerigo Vespucci in claiming that the land we live on isn’t one vast piece, but a few pieces. And Martin Behaim is working on inventing a thing he calls a globe; it is supposed to map the world or something of that sort.

Epilogue

In a far off place

Two hearts are a glow

Of prestige and grace

Bodies dance and flow

Families of the highest power

Together they are at odds

Love finds each other at the tower

Cousins fight with rods

Thoughts are very sour

The boys gather like beasts

Two lovers join at the final hour

Big gathering for everyone to feast

In the end there was tragic

And there was no magic.
